Are you our next result driven Pricing Analyst intern who excels at data analysis and driving peak performance within the Pricing Team? At Transferz, we cater to the diverse needs of thousands of travellers, through both corporate and leisure partners such as OTAs, Travel Agents, Travel Management Companies and many more, and as the Pricing Analyst Intern, you’ll be the cornerstone ensuring our pricing is always competitive and optimised for margin.

As Pricing Analyst, you’ll be part of the Partner Success team within the Commercial department. This department is responsible for the acquisition (Sales team), the onboarding, the performance and the growth (Partner Success team) of our global partnerships with airlines, online travel agencies, hotel brands and airports.


A Pricing Analyst Intern is responsible for setting the ideal target prices on partner marketplaces and portals by optimising our competitiveness and profitability. To determine this, you oversee the results of scraping with a third party, work with complex data sets, analyse competitor pricing, calculate price elasticity and create pricing strategies per partner.


While driving yield management you collaborate closely with the Destination Performance department and Partner Success managers to advise and make price changes in internal and external systems. You also support the Partner Success managers to ensure delivery against metrics with reference to the partner’s strategic account plan. This plan includes targets on revenue, margin, coverage and NPS.


What will you do?

  • Work with tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Python, etc
  • Extract and work with data from a wide range of sources (such as scraping) and experience with interfacing different databases
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods
  • Translate pricing data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies a proven track
  • the ability to assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
  • Applying statistical modelling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability
  • Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends
  • Collaborate to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies together with other departments
