Transferz's mission is to provide true peace of mind to all parties involved in ground transportation: travelers, travel brands, and our transfer companies. With coverage in 150+ countries, 800+ airports and more than 1.500 transfer companies in the network, Transferz is truly global. Travelers can complete their travel plans with door-to-door transfers by selecting the transfer they want, based on vehicle type and price, and enjoy peace of mind on the first and last mile of their journeys. We have the ambition to become the market leader in ground transportation worldwide and therefore, we are looking for a Product Manager to support our growth while keeping our focus on quality.
Transferz is growing rapidly and we are already integrated with many travel brands such as Booking.com, Expedia, GetYourGuide and Transavia and have the ambition to add many more! We believe our growth is coming from our strong focus on the quality of our service.
As Product Manager you’ll represent our key stakeholders; first and foremost, our travelers, but also our connected transfer companies, reselling partners, and our own operational departments. You will combine customer insights with business strategy to form a product roadmap and are responsible for writing and prioritizing the user stories on the product backlog.
Our digital product portfolio ranges from traveler and driver apps to back-office portals used by transfer companies, reselling partners, and our internal teams. As Product Manager you’re responsible for the success of these digital products and maximizing the “Return on Investment” (ROI) of our software development efforts. Gathering business intelligence such as user statistics, behavior, reviews, and ratings as well as qualitative input through surveys and interviews to make informed, data-driven decisions is part of your DNA. What will you do?
- You collaborate with different internal- and external stakeholders to understand their needs and craft solutions that will benefit all parties in our ecosystem;
- You understand and prioritize business opportunities so your team is always working on the most impactful initiatives;
- You ensure product increments have a clear objective with measurable results, and propose improvements based on new insights;
- You create & refine stories together with your team, and manage your backlog;
- You conduct user acceptance testing, and validate that solutions meet business needs.
Requirements:
- a customer-centric attitude;
- experience in managing projects with external stakeholders;
- at least 3 years experience as product owner/manager in a Scrum-based environment;
- the ambition and drive to support our growth by onboarding valuable new partners;
- good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- experience in working in a tech environment;
- fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Bonus point if you:
- have prior experience in the travel industry;
- have a certification as Scrum product owner and/or master;
- speak Dutch or Spanish and know your way around different cultures.
